January General Meeting — 2026 AGM & Inauguration
The first general meeting of 2026 doubles as the Annual General Meeting (AGM). New executive officers will be sworn in and community plans for 2026 will be presented.
Welfare & Dues Review Day
Annual welfare fund review and dues settlement. Members in arrears are encouraged to attend and settle outstanding balances.
February General Meeting
Monthly community assembly for all members. Welfare updates, announcements, and community business.
March General Meeting
Monthly community assembly. Agenda to be circulated one week in advance via official WhatsApp group.
Easter Community Social
Annual Easter get-together for all members and their families. Traditional food, children's activities, and community fellowship.
April General Meeting
Monthly general meeting. Easter social debrief and upcoming event planning.

Monthly community assembly. Planning updates for the summer beach outing and upcoming cultural calendar.
Edo Cultural Heritage Showcase
An evening celebrating Edo culture — traditional dance, royal attire, storytelling, and cuisine. Open to all members and their families.

A relaxed community picnic in the beautiful Roundhay Park. Bring your family, food, and good energy. A great day for the children too!
July General Meeting
Monthly community assembly. Beach outing final arrangements and welfare updates.
Annual Summer Beach Outing — Bridlington
The most popular event in the EUL calendar. A full day at Bridlington Beach — swimming, beach games, traditional food, group photos, and seaside fun for the whole family.
August General Meeting
Monthly community assembly. Beach outing debrief and advance planning for the October independence celebration.
September General Meeting
Monthly general meeting. End-of-year gala preliminary planning and community updates.
Community Welfare & Benevolence Day
A special gathering to recognise and support members who have experienced difficulty in the past year. Welfare fund disbursement ceremony and community prayer.
Nigerian Independence Day Celebration
A celebration of Nigeria's 66th independence anniversary. Traditional attire, national anthems, cultural performances, and community dinner.
October General Meeting
Monthly general meeting. End-of-year gala ticket sales launch and planning update.
November General Meeting
Monthly general meeting. Final preparations for the Annual End-of-Year Gala.
2026 Annual End-of-Year Gala & Cultural Celebration
The grand highlight of the year. Traditional royal attire, Edo cultural performances, award ceremony, high-table dinner, and dancing. Tickets required — members get priority booking.
December General Meeting
Final general meeting of 2026. Annual financial report, welfare summary, and community prayer for the new year.
